The Prelude

We have just returned from our Hong Kong holidays in December 2012 when I chanced upon a trip review to Orlando.

We have been to Orlando back in 1996 without the kiddos and really liked it! So we thought that we should do it again since Ashley is so very much into Disney … the princesses and fairies and Peter Pan! Although Jarod is not a Disney person, he was not one since young, he liked USA having been to Las Vegas and Anaheim back in 2007.

Whilst we would really like to do this trip in December 2013, our concern is if Ashley could take the flight to Orlando. It takes more than 24 hours including transit time from Singapore to Orlando.

Ashley was drawn into what WDW has to offer – so many attractions and activities. And after repeatedly asking her if she could really take the flight there, she told me that it does not matter how long we need to fly because we will get there eventually!

So, it is decided that we will travel to Orlando in December 2013 and the prep starts! This is the one trip that entails one year of extensive planning!
