Planning a Frozen Party for Ashley

Disney’s movie Frozen has taken the world by storm. Not only it opened  to a record box-office over Thanksgiving, it also captivated kids and teens all over the world.

A Frozen themed party is the natural choice for Ashley’s 7th Birthday Party. Fortunately, we have already purchased the Frozen figurines as cake toppers from USA last December. Otherwise, we would be scrambling for Frozen merchandises and paying an exorbitant price for them over Amazon or eBay.

 

We booked the Frozen themed party at The Tiara Society, a place where girls with royal aspirations transform into beautiful princesses. The Classic Princess Party for up to 20 children includes party host, princess dress up, princess activities and a royal banquet. While all the children’s needs including food will be taken care of, it leaves me with only the birthday cake to order and preparing finger food for the adults.

I started searching for Frozen theme party ideas and chanced upon interesting Frozen inspired finger food which I thought would be perfect for Ashley’s party. The menu which I have come up with as below:

Prince Han’s Southern Isles Pastries

I also chanced upon many free Frozen party printables which enables me to customise the cupcake toppers, the Hershey’s Kisses, Marshmellows, straw flags and food tent. I was inspired to set up a nicely decorated Frozen themed dessert table for Ashley’s party.

Next, I printed some cute movie quotes and displayed them in photo frames. The centerpiece will be a 5R photo frame which displays a picture of Ashley taken with Elsa and Anna.

For the goody bags, I ordered 12 pairs of Elsa and Anna dolls from Peeka and each guest will go back with a doll. Ashley was getting really excited for her party.

As the party date is drawing near, I started cutting and pasting all the party printables. Didn’t realise that it is actually quite a bit of work till you started working on them. We have just ordered the birthday cake from Smiling Orchid today and will order all the other finger food by this week.
