Let The Memories Live Again! – Day 25

Today would be our last day in Orlando, Florida. We headed back to Wolfgang Puck for our breakfast yet again. We wanted to fill satisfied and full for our flight out of Florida. We packed our bags, and headed towards Wolfgang Puck for one final meal in Florida. The breakfast was delicious, and we packed some cookies to bring in case any of us were hungry on the trip. We then drove all the way out to Fort Lauderdale, where we eagerly awaited for our flight to San Francisco.

Fortunately, the check in wasn’t too difficult, and we were soon waiting for the JetBlue aircraft to arrive. We boarded the plane soon after, and had a good rest on our short flight to San Francisco, where we would have a short stopover before heading back to Singapore.

We arrived in San Francisco, where we had an easy time clearing customs, and took the convenient monorail system to the rental car area. Unfortunately, the problems begin here.

Since it was Christmas, there were very few staff working in National itself, and few employees were bringing cars up to the Emerald Aisle area. This caused some issues as we had many bags, and we would struggle to put them into a normal sedan. However, we weren’t going to be as lucky as in Orlando, and we just took a Chrysler 200 that was around. At this time, it was getting late, and Ashley was pretty hungry. As most shops were closed, we drove in circles around the airport and near our hotel, without finding any food. Thankfully, we were saved when we found a local Walgreens, which sold food. We picked up some Cream Cakes, Nuts and chips to last us the night. We jokingly called it our Christmas Dinner, which was actually pretty nice, considering I haven’t had any cream cakes before. The hotel was really nice when we checked in. It was extremely chic and modern, and the beds were really nice. We put down some of our bags, and had a rest, as we had to wake up early tomorrow for our short adventure in San Francisco.
