‘Magic’al Europe – Day 11
Today would be the 11th day, and the final day of our European retreat. We spent the entirety of Day 10 as well as the night afterwards, travelling towards Denmark. By the time we have all woken up, the Disney Magic has already docked in Copenhagen, and we were about to be served breakfast, before disembarking off the ship. For Breakfast, we had another special menu, titled “See Ya Real Soon”, in the hopes that we would be on another Disney cruise soon.
For breakfast, we enjoyed the Almost Home, the Eggs for the Road, as well as the Route 66. Afterwards, we took a picture together with our servers, before we decided to disembark, and mark our last few hours of our holiday.
In Denmark, before we headed to the airport, we decided to head towards The Coffee Collective for Latte and Ice Cream, for a final snack and treat before we left Europe. We took the opportunity as welll to take photos of the cakes and bread that was on offer, something that seemed to be in abundance in Europe.
In the Airport, we went around and eventually found a Sushi place for Ashley to eat. However, the rest of us could not really palate anything due to the extreme price of the food in Copenhagen. It really is an expensive place to live.
After a short leg in our flight landed in Germany, where we decided to get some lunch. We initially wanted to take a train to the city center, but unimaginably the german public transport system failed us on that day and the train broke down, preventing us from actually getting there. Instead we got to have some lunch,, where we could try some steak, fish and a currywurst for myself.
After this, we found a McRib in the airport, and chilled out while waiting for our next flight. Oh, and we were thoroughly amused when a can of beer was half the price of a coke. After this, we waved goodbye to the cool summers of Europe, and returned to the humid, hot Singapore to continue our normal lives.
